The Bachelor: Season 16 Episode 6

Ben and his girls are jetted to Panama City. And in the first 2 minutes Courtney is already ANNOYING ME! Everyone gets a date this week, but there is the dreaded 2 on 1 date; where one girl will be going home. Ben leaves the first date card, Kacie B gets the first date Ben says…Pack 3 Things. Are they going on a deserted island and they have to see if they survive?? That’s an interesting second date if so…and that’s what is is!! Kacie B brings a monkey stuffed animal, a corkscrew, and a bag of candy. Ben brought a machete, fishing net, and matches. Kacie girl I wish you wore sneakers, you’re making me nervous. They start catching fish, breaking open coconuts, and drinking champagne…err one of these doesn’t go with another. I bet Courtney wishes she was on this date; I’m sure she’d get naked and go all Blue Lagoon on Ben. Kacie B and Ben dig down deep during their dinner, she opens up to him about her eating disorder she had in high school. They are just so adorable together, giggling and carefree…I hope their connection is enough for Ben, because she’s not throwing herself at him, I hope he knows how much she cares (clearly…I have a soft spot for this girl)

Date Card Number Two: Let’s get Lost Ben…Emily, Nicki, Lindzi, Kasey S, Courtney, Jamie

The girls and Ben travel by boat for a cultural tour of Panama. The girls get dressed up by Panama women and they get little beaded crochet crop tops…all the women keep their bathing suit tops on but Courtney….OF COURSE. Ughhh….Ben pops out in a loin cloth. And then Ben doesn’t like that all the women still have their tops on, they didn’t embrace it like Courtney…ARE YOU KIDDING ME! PERV. Courtney continues to be annoying…and Ben loves it. During the evening Lindzi and Ben have some good one on one time, he likes how easy going she is. He pulls Courtney aside and says how much he loves how outgoing she is, and how he knows that it puts her into hot water with the other girls. Then Courtney starts working for a rose, saying she doesn’t feel special. She also invites him over to her room, for some private time. Jamie is chatting with Brad, and Courtney starts scheming…taking off her dress and struts around in her little white bikini jumping in the pool in Ben’s eye sight. Both aren’t focused and Jamie walks away knowing that she might be going home this week. I do have to agree with Courtney a bit, the girls keep blaming their lack of relationship with Ben on Courtney being too aggressive. Now I’m not saying the should be dropping their dresses and being AS aggressive as Courtney, but they really do need to put themselves out there a little bit more than they might normally given a normal dating scenario…this is a fast past atmosphere…and with girls like Courtney you have to make it or break it. Ben is giving Emily another chance she better NOT talk about Courtney…she freaks him out by playing around saying there is another man in her life…but she was just joking around. She consoles him that she is done with worrying about the other girls and she is focusing now on her relationship first and foremost. She then goes and apologizes to Courtney saying she was wrong about the way she acted towards her, very sincere…and then Courtney flips out, and says they will never be friends. Ben gives my girl Lindzi the rose for today! She is giving Kacie B a run for her money! Wow, I didn’t see what happens next to happen. Courtney starts to have a breakdown that Ben didn’t show up to her room, and she goes into a whole story of how she is continually disappointed by men who like her in the beginning and then get bored with her…I wonder why…I almost feel bad for her, for a second, and then i have to remember everything she has done to this point.

Date Card Number Three: Blakley & Rachel Save The Last Dance For Me

I think this was a good 2 on 1 date choice, I feel like the girls are kind of on even ground as far as getting to know Ben and the point they are at in their relationships. The date is salsa lessons! This is a pretty awkward date, each girl needs to watch the other dance with Ben. Blakley wrapping your leg around Ben playfully is one thing, giving him a kiss is another thing entirely..on a 1 on 1 yes, but I think that is a little tacky. Rachel keeps it classy on her one-on-one time with Ben, she could’ve  thrown Blakley under the bus, but she decided to focus on how much she likes Ben, and make out with him! Blakley takes another route, getting teary eyed, and telling him how much she likes him, and has a hard time getting the words out. She made Ben a book, putting herself in all the places they have been and showing him what she has learned and seen from him each step of the way. WOW. This is a tough decision, I will give him that. He gives Rachel the rose, and Blakley just walks away…after all the cut and paste time she had making her book, she must be crushed. She sobs all the way to the car hand in hand with Ben.

Right before the rose ceremony Chris Harrison comes into the girls room. He pulls Kasey S aside and tells her he knows that she has a boyfriend back home. And she denies it completely.  She admits to Chris that she should probably be in therapy. Chris forces her to say that she is still in love with Michael (her ex) I think this is RICULOUS. Her reasons for coming on the show are completely valid, she was hoping to fall in love with Ben a committed guy, and not her loser ex boyfriend who said she didn’t want to ever get married. It’s completely valid for her to feal uncertain about her relationship back home because she did love the guy, but can’t a girl try to move on and find love. Did Ben not just proposal to Ashley who he was clearly in love with only a few short months ago, but he has the all clear to move on. This is a RIDCULUS move by ABC and I don’t appreciate it. I also dislike that Kasey S is just going along with it. Maybe she planted the seed with producers. Ben says she needs to go, and Chris is left to pick up the pieces of what he started…I honestly feel bad for her, I hope Michael back home realizes what a cute chick he has!

The Rose Ceremony, Ben will be sending one woman home tonight. I think Jamie is the one to go tonight, I feel like her relationship, if there is one with Ben is not up to par with the other girls. She is a self proclaimed prude, and you can tell she’s trying to be really outrageous with him. So she straddles him and makes-out with him. It feels very forced.  This is embarrassing, I can hardly watch. And I think it was a little too much for Ben to handle as well, Jamie was left without a rose….

They are headed to Belize next. Major Jel. Next week is a big week. The week before home town dates. Will it be the week of Courtney’s demise?? I hope so! Naturally he would let her go before hometown dates; meeting her family would be VERY interesting. Eeeee can’t wait until next week!!
